What to Expect

All appointments are carried out by HCPC-registered audiologists and typically last up to 75 minutes. Every assessment is tailored to you and includes

Consultation

Your appointment begins with a friendly consultation to discuss your hearing health, medical history, and any concerns you may have.

Examination

We perform a thorough examination of your ears, to check for blockages, obstructions or abnormalities. Images are captured and recorded using a video otoscope.

Audiometry

We measure your ability to hear different pitches and volumes, producing an “audiogram” to chart your hearing capabilities.

Tympanometry

A series of tests are conducted to check the health of your middle ear and eardrum, ensuring there are no underlying medical issues.

Speech testing

We evaluate how well you can understand and repeat words in both quiet and noisy environments, assessing your speech perception.

ACT (audible Contrast Threshold Testing)

The latest method used to define the help you require in compensating for background noise.

Results & Recommendations
