Expert Care to Manage and Alleviate Tinnitus Symptoms
Understanding Tinnitus
Tinnitus is commonly described as ringing in the ears but it can manifest as various sounds. At Audibility, we understand the impact tinnitus can have on your quality of life and offer specialised support to help you manage and reduce it`s effects.

Initial Consultation
The first step for anyone experiencing tinnitus is a thorough hearing assessment. This allows us to create a comprehensive picture of your auditory health. Whilst not everyone with a hearing loss has noticeable tinnitus, it has been proven that up to 90% of people with tinnitus have some form of auditory damage or change. Our detailed hearing assessment helps us determine if hearing loss is a contributing factor and to understand the pitch, volume and characteristics of your tinnitus.
During the hearing assessment, we`ll discuss your symptoms, medical history and any potential triggers for your tinnitus. This allows us to understand your specific situation and develop a personalised treatment plan.
Personalised Treatment
For many patients, hearing aids alone can be an effective way of managing tinnitus. Many manufacturers now include tinnitus therapy features within their hearing aids. For more bothersome cases, where correcting hearing loss alone is not enough, these additional features can serve as an excellent alternative before exploring more traditional treatment methods, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or tinnitus retraining therapy (TRT).
Ongoing Support
Managing tinnitus is an ongoing process. We provide continuous support and follow-up appointments to monitor your progress and adjust your treatment plan as needed.
At Audibility, our goal is to offer effective strategies and compassionate care to help you live comfortably with tinnitus.
