When Father Christmas Popped In for a Hearing Check
Our first festive season at Audibility brought a surprise we didn’t quite expect — a visit from Father Christmas himself. Between meeting families in the shopping centre and checking his list (twice), he found time to step into our clinic for a very important appointment: a hearing check.
A very important visitor in the booth
When Father Christmas walked through the door in full red suit and hat, the clinic felt instantly more festive. After a quick tour, he did what any responsible gift‑giver would do — he stepped into the audiometry booth to make sure he could hear every wish clearly.
It was a light‑hearted moment, but it carried a simple truth: even someone who spends December surrounded by jingling bells, excited voices and Christmas music needs to look after their hearing.
Hearing well for the people who matter
The festive season is full of small sounds that mean a lot — laughter around the table, quiet conversations, the rustle of wrapping paper and the first few notes of a favourite song. When your hearing isn’t as clear as it could be, those moments can feel a little further away.
That’s why we loved the idea of Father Christmas taking a moment to check his hearing. It’s a gentle reminder that looking after your ears isn’t about vanity — it’s about staying connected to the people and traditions that matter most.

You don’t need a red suit or a sleigh to book in with us. At Audibility, hearing tests are free, friendly and carried out in a calm, relaxed setting here in Motherwell. Whether you’ve noticed changes in your hearing or just want a baseline check, you’re very welcome to come in.
